I’m not from the area, I just stopped by with my family but the first things I noticed were the great dining atmosphere and the kind greetings from staff. Our waitress Dottie was very welcoming and treated us like family. Our meal was also delicious, it was my first time trying cream chipped beef and they were to die for🤤Dottie made great recommendations! I’d definitely visit again 😊
As a native of South Jersey love visiting when able. So great to come back and visit these fine family hometown breakfast stops. Extremely tasty, reasonable and great service.
1st time there (10/4/25) My husband loved the sausage gravy w/biscuits (he said its not as good as Mine..lol but its close) I had a skillet with ham,bacom,P&O, cheese potatoes It was VERY good I normally dont like places homefries/potatoes but Mels Place had some good ones. And both grandkids got pancakes and eggs and thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast. The waitress was an older woman and just fantastic.. oh and idk why but the hot coffee was delicious-Good quality coffee!
